Katie Cairns; The Violet Mist Healing; Mediumship; Reiki

From Canada's West Coast, I'm Katie Cairns, the Violet Mist Medium, Reiki Master/Teacher and owner at the Violet Mist Healing. 

The Violet Mist first started in 2012 when I first became a Reiki Master ("Violet" is a beloved family member in spirit and who inspired the name) and since that time, I have provided hundreds of evidential mediumship readings and as many healing Reiki treatments,

 in person and by distance.

My mediumship is based in professional training, ethics and empathy. My knowledge of the spirit world began at 8 years old, waking up in the middle of the night to see a full body apparition, a man, sitting on my mother's cedar chest.  This is when I learned first hand that there was most certainly a spirit world and though I didn't discuss it, I never had any question about it.  

After my  mother passed in 2020, I began to watch videos of mediumship teachings, and 3 years later, began formal mentorship, studying with one of the most renowned, evidential mediums in the world, Medium Charlie Kelly of the UK.  Since December 2021 I have invested thousands of hours in formal mediumship development as a student of Medium Charlie Kelly because it is so important to be able to do the best job I can to 

reconnect you with your loved ones. 

I have also studied with the UK's Arthur Findlay College.

Besides being an evidential medium, I am a proud parent of 2 children in university, full time employee, buddy to a black lab, family genealogist and social worker by training (Bachelor of Social Work). 

On the eve of the passing of my dear Mom, 5 years ago today, I dedicated this site to her - as she continues to come through regularly in readings (by other mediums) to remind me of our times together as well as to bring through that good advice that she always did.
